Port McNeill, B.C. June 14th, 2020 - Deborah Murray, super-Canadian and mother of superstar Canadian vocalist Clifton Murray has sent a call-out to all residents of Port McNeill and the North Island to participate in a coast-to-coast Canadian Challenge for Canada Day. The Canadian Tenors and Corus Media are doing a Canadian montage to "Oh Canada" that honours diversity, and the dreams, history and vision people have for the Nation of Canada. This Canada Day - July 1st 2020 - THE TENORS will release their celebrated version of ‘O CANADA’ in support of Musicounts, Canada's leading music education charity that benefits children and youth in communities across the nation. In partnership with CORUS ENTERTAINMENT this project will be featured in multiple online and conventional TV properties across the country, reaching a wide national audience. We would love you to be a part of this collection of video images (and/or pictures) with your sign to celebrate what Canada means to you or what you want Canada to stand for in the future.
Call to action : This new recording with stunning vocals is layered with a powerful orchestral arrangement by award-winning composer Bill Ross. The music will become the soundtrack to a masterfully conceptualized video featuring passionate Canadians in outdoor settings and/or at famous landmarks. It will be full of leaders and local community hero’s, iconic personalities and everyday Canadians from diverse communities from coast to coast to coast. We are reaching out to our friends and collogues from across the country and asking a small favour to take a moment and share your message - A quick 3 second video is all we need from an outdoor location or your favorite landmark.
